Attention Parents: 

On Thursday, February 12th, just prior to our week vacation, the school counselors went into each of the English classes to pass out the 2015-2016 Program of Studies to each student in grades 9-11.  During the month of March, students will be given instructions on how they will choose their courses for the next school year through our Power School online scheduling process.  Teachers will be providing course recommendations on Power School.

Attention Juniors and 8th grade parents, here are the power points for the Junior Planning and 8th Grade Parent Presentation. The week of January 26th the Windsor Locks School Counseling staff will be presenting both junior students and their parents with important information regarding the post-secondary planning process.

School Counselors will be meeting with their own counselees during Advisory on Tuesday, January 27th, to discuss post-secondary options, selecting and maintaining a strong senior course of studies, and providing students with the opportunity to do a college search on Naviance.

On Thursday, January 29th at 6pm, the School Counseling staff will meet with Junior parents in the Media center to provide highlights of the same presentation given to their student, provide information and resources for the post-secondary planning process and allow parents time to complete a college search.

Attention Parents:  Grade 10 and 11 students received their score reports this week for the PSAT's that were administered in October 2014.  The Grade 10 students had a mini lesson with the school counselors on Monday 12/15 instructing them on how to interpret the test scores and the meaning behind the scores.  The Grade 11 students received their scores in their Advisory period on Tuesday 12/16.  Please review this with your child and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your student's counselor.

Saturday Academy is available from 8am to 12pm. Students must be referred by a teacher to attend. Teachers will be taking attendance at the door. If you have any questions, please contact your School Counselor.

Just a reminder!

There will be no Saturday Academy this weekend Nov 1st. Our next Saturday Academy will be November 8th. On the other hand, we will have Saturday Detention. 

Sport Teams and Individual sports pictures will be taken on Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:20. Please put on your uniform and meet in the gym.
